On Saturday September 06, Benny Greb, Jost Nickel and Johnny Rabb will conduct exclusive Masterclasses. Registration must be made on our website, www.meinldrumfestival.com. The number of participants is limited. Deadline for registration is July 20, 2008.

Each masterclass will last approximately 90 minutes. Benny Greb will give a lecture on “Drumming vocabulary, universal repertoire for every situation.” Jost Nickel’s masterclass is going to be about “Phrasing and Orchestration” and Johnny Rabb’s presentation will be about “Versatile drumming: being well versed in many styles will allow you more drumming opportunities.” Last but not least, a final interactive panel discussion of all faculty members and other guests will offer insight into the everyday life of a professional drummer.

A special rehearsal space equipped with pads and drum sets enables participants to begin working on the content just learned. In addition, a cymbal workshop to be conducted by our product specialists will inform participants all about this instrument. Every attendant will receive an official participation certificate.

Doors open at 10am and the event will last until about 9pm.
